Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet, jurist, theologian, and Sufi mystic.
His poems have been widely translated into many of the world’s languages.
He has been described as the “most popular poet in America” in 2007.
Rumi was born on 30 September 1207 in greater Balkh which overlaps present day Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
He died on 17 December 1273 in Konya in present day Turkey.

: God did not made the bible, the bible was written by many people, many parts from the bible springs from an ancient oral tradition that has been told and retold over countless generations, do you not think that during such a long process some things might have been lost, some things might have been distorted and some things might have been added?, parts of the Old Testament did indeed originate as the result of divine inspiration, the best one can say about the Old Testament is that it does indeed contain fragments of the word of God, but that much of it is no longer the pure word of God, the New Testament is in a somewhat better shape because we have much of the direct sayings from Jesus, but he has said so much more which is not recorded in the bible or is labeled as heresy, all his words not recorded in the bible and much more teachings never been said 2000 years ago are available now in this time of age, many wonderfull people have had direct revelations from Jesus and have written about it in books and on the internet, to find these teachings you must have a different approach, you not accept anything because it's written, you only accept it when it resonate within your heart, real genuine teachings give you joy, lift you up and moves you in the right direction, the right direction is when you have an direct experience within, did Jesus not say: Luke 17:20-21 "21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."
